As the months went on, I was back on cloud nine. I had so much joy spending time with mybaby, watching him grow, learn, laugh and play!

First birthday, too!

He was a wonderful baby andwas extremely intelligent from the beginning.Before his first birthday, he could point to the right toy and picturesin a book when prompted. He loved tolaugh hehehe like Ernie, growl like a lion and say baaboopboop forlollipop. I would sing, She lovesyou and hed fill in yeah, yeah, yeah!

Chania accommodationHis first hospital stay wasfor 10 days when he was 10 months old.He began having breathing treatments two to three times each day. After using several i.v. sites in his hands,they had to use the top of his foot so he couldnt cruise around. He had to be restrained for several days inmy lap or a high chair. It was hard butwe got through it, and it was 15 months before his next hospital stay.

We had a wonderful blessingduring that time. Our son, EricBenjamin was born on October 4, 1991!There was a 25% chance that he would have CF, but there was a 75% chancehe would not. God blessed us with peacethroughout the pregnancy and we never felt like he would have it. He was given the sweat test at 12 days oldand the test was negative.

Eric was 7 weeks old when Alanhad another lung infection. Hotels DeutschlandWhen I toldhim he had to go into the hospital he said, But I not hurting. This surprised me because he was only 2years and 3 months old and I didnt realize he even knew what hospitals werefor. ERROR MSGI whispered a prayer, Lord, Ipray that Alan will always be able to say he is not hurting. Please dont let him suffer with thisdisease.
